“Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late”: Relieve Muscle Pain With CrisP Recovery

By Sydney Van Dreason

It’s no secret to athletes and fitness enthusiasts that exercise and sports may lead to muscle injuries that need professional help. Growing up, Cristian Parra was involved in sports and experienced his fair share of sports- related pain, which eventually inspired him to help others with their own recoveries.Cris Parra

“Being an athlete myself and dealing with past personal injuries has allowed me to learn how to teach others on proper injury prevention and recovery,” Cristian said. “I have experience in working passive mobility and recovery on clients for five years. I truly enjoy working with a variety of clients over the years, and I have been able to help better their range of motion/quality of life.”

In October 2021, Cristian opened his own small business called CrisP Recovery, an in-home muscle recovery service. Some of the services provided include dynamic air compression, assisted/passive mobility work, cupping, scrapping and more.

“I strive to bring awareness of the importance of proper muscle recovery after activity or from everyday life,” Cristian said.

With extensive experience and personal history with muscle recovery, Cristian draws passion for his work from many areas of his life. But his biggest motivation comes from his two sons.CrisP Recovery | Palm Living Magazine Feature Story - April 2022

“My biggest inspiration in life would have to be my two sons,” Cristian said. “Our family has lived in Naples for 22 years. I’m originally from Colombia, and my wife from New York. We have two awesome boys who are the most energetic of the family. We enjoy the outdoors and watching football games together.”

On top of being passionate about his family and working with his clients, Cristian enjoys dedicating his time and services to various charity events and seminars. His favorite part about his philanthropic and professional efforts is having the opportunity to help improve an individual’s quality of life.

With muscle injuries, it is key to act fast in order to relieve pain and future consequences. Cristian encourages potential clients to act quickly if they are in pain or recently injured a muscle through sports, labor or other circumstances.

“Don’t wait until it’s too late; the results won’t start until you do,” he said.
