Established in 2008, the Joint Replacement Institute began with a single surgeon who focuses his practice on hip and knee replacements. The practice has grown to include multiple providers, including a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon, interventional pain management physician, and a podiatrist.

Dr. Wallace currently serves as the head team physician for Ave Maria University, where he works with athletes to assure their quick return to sport. He has served as the Chief of the Orthopedic department for the NCH healthcare system. In Florida, Dr. Wallace has served as orthopedic surgeon for the USTA/ITF World Tennis Tour, the QBE Shootout team golf event on the PGA Tour, including other sporting events.
His interests in orthopedics include arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, elbow, and knee as well as general orthopedic care. He also has extensive training in joint reconstruction and fracture care.
Dr. Wallace is expertly trained in nonoperative treatments such as stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, as well as other orthobiologics used to help patients heal faster.
